30 Day Lindy Hop Challenge – Day 26: My own level
After four years, regular weekly classes and a number of very good workshops from excellent teachers, I feel that I dance Lindy Hop, Charleston, Six Count, and Balboa at an Intermediate level. I have learned a lot and improved so much. I acknowledge that I still have a lot to learn and there is so much more room for improvement.
As for blues, I am [probably still at a beginner level. There is not much opportunity to dance blues in Galway and therefore my practice is going to be limited. I have attended a couple of workshops in blues and taken some classes here in Galway. Despite not dancing blues at a high level, I still really enjoy the music and the blues dancing events that I attend. Don’t get me wrong, I have a lot of really nice dances at blues social events.
