30 Day Lindy Hop Challenge – Day 28: Events I’m looking forward to
No events are booked yet so nothing is set in stone, but just some of items on the swing calendar that I would like to attend this year include the Balboa Gathering in Newcastle, the Galway Lindy Hop Championships with Skye Humphries (woot!), and either the Edinburgh Lindy Exchange or The Swing-a-Thon in Galway. I have attended these events in previous years and really enjoyed them because there is always a lovely vibe hanging out and dancing with friends at these events. The events that include classes are great because I have the opportunity to learn from truly magnificent teachers.
One event that is happening quite soon that I am looking forward to and definitely attending is the Galway Swing Speakeasy on February 23rd (details on www.galwayswing.com) which includes both classes and a prohibition-era themed social night.
