Christmas is coming…
Words cannot express how happy and excited I feel at the moment. I have always loved the festive period. The best thing about the holidays is the opportunity to spend up to a week at home with my family. As I now live on the opposite side of the country, I now find Christmas that bit more special. I am from a close-knit family and living away from home means I don’t get to see them as often.
I do consider myself somewhat fortunate that I am still living in the same country as my family and I can visit at other times during the year even if other visits only last a day or two. There are many families who are now divided by long distances overseas where family members have emigrated to the US, Australia etc.
I would like to take the chance to wish everyone a safe journey home and a very happy Christmas with those closest to them. Afterall, spending quality time with friends and family is, in my opinion, the best thing about Christmas.
