Save Childline 24

This latest post is an appeal and a call to action. Childline’s phone service has been the sole support to many children throughout the island of Ireland for 26 years and now it faces an uncertain future. Childline is currently available to speak with and listen to children 24 hours a day, but if they are unable to race vital funds to meet the current shortfall then they will be forced to close the phone service for up to 5 hours every day.

I have been a long time supporter of the work of Childline and I help them to advocate and campaign for children’s rights, especially the right to be heard. I have devoted time over the past 4-5 years to help them achieve their vision to see an Ireland where all children are heard and valued.

I am going to everything I can to help Childline raise the funding they so desperately need in order to continue the fantastic work that they are doing. I am asking for anyone who can to do the same.
